Sri Lanka is ever-more recognised as one of the world’s most popular tourist destinations and it’s easy to see why. Hundreds of miles of golden beaches, ancient cultures and civilisations, gorgeous mountain landscapes and wildlife-packed national parks are all found within an island just a few hundred miles long and wide.
The Sapphire Sri Lanka sits in a very quiet part of the island, almost entirely untouched by tourist crowds. But those beaches, mountains and ancient cities are within reach and the weekly adventures and outings we plan for our clients lets you see them whenever you choose.
For those of you completing your time and recovery with us we have a network of beautiful boutique hotels and villas across the island, perfectly suited to accommodate you as you step back towards a normal routine.
Where We Are
The Sapphire Sri Lanka is in the Western Province, an hour and fifteen minutes’ drive inland from the capital Colombo and exactly an hour’s drive from the International Airport.
From here, we have easy access to the hospitals and professionals of Colombo if needed but sit happily removed from noise and bustle.
We are within two and half hour’s drive of the prettiest beaches of the South Coast and less than two hours from Kandy, the island’s cultural capital.
Within day-trip reach are the ancient cities of the Cultural Triangle as well as the mountains and tea estates of the Central Highlands.
